The Company:
Your new employer is a successful, independent and medium-sized Lloyd's Wholesale Broker who have been established for over 20 years.
With offices both in the heart of the city and internationally, they now have an incredible opportunity for a Property and Casualty Account Manager to join their fast paced team, where you will manage some of your administrative colleagues coupled with handling renewals of Property and Liability Risks.
This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Account Handler/Exec/Broker Back-Up/Technical Specialist, who is competent in creating MRC Slips for UK Property and Casualty Risks.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for assisting the Associate Director with diverse tasks including projects, development and training of staff and general assistance
Encouraging and supporting Account Executives in maintaining strong Client relationships by leading by example
Supporting/deputising for the Associate Director in coordinating resources across the whole P&C team
Attending and contributing to Technical Meetings in a professional manner
Researching, observing and executing ways to expand upon the Team's knowledge and skills coupled with implementing team policies and procedures
Providing accurate and effective support to the Execs and the Team
Assist with the development of new business and the existing portfolio of agents
Responsible for preparing/populating MRC Slips with relevant correspondence
Prepare MRC Slips and supporting documentation in accordance with templates and MRC requirements using Websure
Oversee and approve client documentation
Undertake Account Handling duties including liaising and negotiating with Underwriters to place risks
About you:
5 years + experience in Wholesale Property and Casualty / London Market - preferred but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain both internal and external relationships
Experience in creating MRC slips
Ability to adapt to ever changing situations
Proven experience of running a team - preferred but not essential
