We are seeking an exceptional Group Sales Manager to join the Maybourne Group Sales team.
Maybourne owns and manages Claridge's, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Maybourne Beverly Hills, The Maybourne Riviera and The Emory six of the world's most renowned hotels. As a Group Sales Manager you will strategize and convert residential events and group bookings for Maybourne and manage the RSO Group Sales Team and Proactive Group Sales Manager.
Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
To develop a strategic sales plan which will identify opportunities and maximize revenue growth and increase brand presence in the group market.
To ensure a solid group base is established across all Maybourne hotels and utilize special need period rates and concessions.
Manage reactive group sales team and proactive group sales manager to ensure quarterly targets are met.
Management of partnerships with key MICE platforms eg. CVENT, venue directory etc.
Proactively assist Senior Sales Manager Groups with prospecting group business, attending MICE / Corporate Planner Receptions, trade shows and fam trips where necessary.
Handle all site visits for high revenue group enquiries across the group and attend site visits for high value bookings.
Management of all contracts and proposals across Maybourne, Group SOPs and Salesforce SOPs.
Qualify leads from varying sources to ascertain business potential for groups and events at all six Maybourne properties.
Successful candidates for our Group Sales Manager opportunity will:
Have previous experience within a hotel corporate group sales environment.
Have strong organisational and time management skills.
Be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer care skills and ability to work under pressure, with excellent attention to detail.
Possess an excellent telephone manner, verbal and written English.
Have a high standard of personal presentation with confident, professional and welcoming personality.
Demonstrate genuine dedication to Maybourne Hotel Group and show a commitment to consistent quality in our products and services.
