Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:

Meticulously process supplier invoices in our robust accounting system and prepare comprehensive weekly creditor reports.

Maintain the integrity of our financial records through diligent daily bank reconciliations, including for multi-currency transactions.

Efficiently manage weekly expense processing, credit card spend, and ensure full compliance with our financial policies.

Proactively manage credit control, cash allocations, and prepare detailed weekly reports on our debtor position.

Ensure the accuracy and currency of our accounting records through regular ledger account balancing and manual journal entries.

Partner with the wider finance team to provide vital support for VAT returns, management accounts, and cash flow reporting.

Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver timely and insightful financial information and reports to stakeholders.

Take ownership of the fixed asset register, ensuring it is accurately maintained.
