The Role
Reporting into the Finance Director, this role is responsible for:
Manage and develop a team of professional accountants and support their day-to-day operations
Implement and monitor controls related to all areas of financial accounting and reporting
Manage the month-end close ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the required activities
Be a point of escalation and approval for journal entries, reconciliations, financial reports, etc.
Oversee financial accounting for revenue, expenses, fixed assets, intangible assets, production, inventory, intercompany and more
Prepare the quarterly and annual reporting including liaising with corporate to resolve queries in a timely manner
Support internal and external audit including acting as the key audit contact
Work closely with International Tax team to set and implement global transfer pricing policies
Assist with some budgeting related activities - i.e., understanding variances to budget
Your Background
You are an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualified experience. Ideally, you trained within a practice environment followed by 2-3 years experience as a Senior Accountant within a media/ entertainment based business.
Location
The office is based in Central London and offers WFH flexibility.
