The opportunity
Due to this sustained growth Ethical Power’s legal team is now looking to recruit a lawyer with a specialism in property to assist with an increasingly demanding and diverse workload.
Working with the existing members of the legal team the emphasis of your position will be to support the development team with a variety of property matters including Title reviews, Heads of terms, options, leases, easements and wayleaves. In addition you will support on property aspects of all EPC and ICP/BOP contracts and delivery of projects under those agreement, as well as on various M&A deals within the group. Over time, you will have the opportunity to broaden out you experience supporting with financing, JV and pre construction agreements as well as the general legal needs of the group as a whole.
About you
You may currently be working in private practice or in-house and will be looking to make a change towards a fully engaged and immersive career in a fast growing, renewable energy business. You will have had a good grounding in commercial property, with confident and balanced negotiation skills, well organised and managed due diligence investigation and reporting skills and above all a passion to fully integrate with the business.
