The Solutions Design Manager will work alongside the commercial team, designing solutions to show prospective new customers how they would be integrated into the current 3PL operation.
There will also be a small focus on solutions design for existing customers, but this will be in the minority of the duties. This will be a hybrid role.
My client are an industry-leading global 3PL, with multiple sites across the UK.
The key responsibilities for the role of Solutions Design Manager based in Bradford will be:
Work alongside the Commercial Team, designing warehousing/fulfilment solutions for prospective and new customers to integrate them into existing DC's in the network.
Design solutions for some existing customers with changing needs or operational issues.
Work autonomously on a hybrid basis, coming into Head Office or to warehousing sites when required.
Influence product evolution and investment strategy based on UK & EU market requirements.
Analyse customer needs related to proposals and tenders through the Commercial Team.
Design and present solutions plans to both internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate for the role of Solutions Design Manager based in Bradford will have:
Experience designing solutions for implementing new customers into a warehousing operation.
Experience designing solutions for existing warehousing operations in line with changing requirements or operational issues.
Experience working within a 3PL business.
The ability to commute to the Bradford office once every two weeks minimum, and visit sites as required.
It would be advantageous to have a degree in a field relating to business or supply chain management.
The successful candidate for the role of Solutions Design Manager based in Bradford will receive:
A salary of up to £75,000 DOE.
A Monday - Friday, hybrid working schedule.
25 days holiday + bank holidays.
Death in service, x3 salary.
