Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage their own work and jobs and deliver to high standards
* Responsible for service and maintenance of commercial heating systems and building services, reactive maintenance.
* To proactively identify and undertake heating/combustion maintenance works (reactive works not yet identified by the client)
* To undertake heating/combustion PPM work, within set time frames to ensure statutory compliance
* To undertake heating/combustion improvement work as required
* Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault-finding
* To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of all plant room equipment
* To undertake necessary repairs/replacement of defective pumps/valves/radiators/PUs. Including draining down and refilling heating systems
* Power flushing heating systems
* Maintain stock control system as directed
* Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms
* To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents/records/gas certificates are completed and sent to the office as required
* Be part of a OOH call out rota, attend emergency mechanical repair work
* Escalate issues to Supervisor and Contract Manager immediately
* Help the office team create quotations based on your reports, site surveys and information provided by yourself
