Payroll & Systems Partner

Sinclair is looking for a Payroll and HR Systems Partner to join the team in Chester. This role will be responsible for managing payroll in a number of locations, global benefit management, and maintaining, configuring and developing our HR system, Sage People. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, have an understanding of global benefits programs, and proficiency in HR systems management, including integration, development and troubleshooting. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Hybrid working 3 days in the office 2 at home, Lakeside, Chester Business Park, Cheshire, CH4 9QT

Key Responsibilities:
Payroll:
For payroll in a number of international locations, including the UK - the accurate and timely processing is essential to the role, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Payroll records, resolving any discrepancies and dealing with enquiries about pay from employees and the business will also be a key part of this role. Continuing to drive global payroll integration and alignment will also become a bigger part of this role as we grow.
Global Benefits:
Global benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
Compliance with local regulations and manage relationships with benefit vendors.
The main point of contact for any benefit related queries.
HR Systems Management:
The maintenance and configuration of our HR systems, Sage People. This role will be the primary point of contact for any Sage People-related enquiries, and will play a key role in the development of the system, to align with business priorities.
Data accuracy and integrity within HR systems - supporting global HR users.
Training and support to employees on HR systems usage.
HR Analytics, Reporting & Compliance:
Up-to-date with relevant employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all HR operations.
Reports and analyse data related to payroll, benefits, and HR metrics.
With audits and compliance reviews as needed.
Building and designing dashboards to effectively showcase HR data for the wider business, ensuring data can help the business to make effective decisions.
Requirements:
Essential:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
4+ years of experience in payroll administration, global benefits management, and HR systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in payroll processing, an understanding of global benefits programs, and proficiency in HR systems management.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
UK payroll processing experience.
Experience with global benefits administration and familiarity with international benefits practices.
Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems; experience with Sage, Workday, or similar platforms preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Desirable:
Expereince with Sage People.
CIPD Level 5 and/or CIPP Qualified.
HR analytics – ability to analyse trends from own data production.
Ability to interpret complex data.
