The job of Project Accountant will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
Act as finance lead for significant organisational projects
Collaborate with finance & non-finance managers on the Finance Management Improvement Programme
Develop & implement key financial policies & procedures
Provide robust financial advice & input into major project decisions
Deliver financial training to non-finance managers, aiding organisational understanding of financial policies
Support efficiency initiatives, identifying potential savings & contributing to business case development
Assist in a range of duties as directed by senior finance staff
You
As Project Accountant you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
Capable of carrying out the duties listed above
Accountancy qualifications are not essential for this role
Substantial management accounting experience in a complex environment
Ability to work within a project setting and deliver on objectives
Excellent computer-based management accounting system knowledge, including Microsoft Office proficiency
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills
Exceptional organisational skills and a strong team ethos
