We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Shift and a Lead Shift Engineer to join our Resident Maintenance team on a prestigious client site in West London.
Successful applicants must have previous experience in a similar position and hold a valid HV or AP cert to carryout HV/LV switching competently.
Purpose/ Main function of position:
Plan or carryout Planned Preventative Maintenance activities and first line Break Down response, to the Mechanical & Electrical plant, equipment and systems within SLA’s/KPI’s
Plan or assist specialist sub-contractors during routine site visits as directed
Ensure correct working procedures are being adhered to via documented RAMS for both sub-contractors & self-perform tasks
Plan or carryout site risk assessments for self-perform tasks
To ensure the company Health & Safety policy is adhered to within scheme of responsibilities
To work within the JCA Managed Services processes and procedures at all times
Mentor team to ensure their understanding of site plant/equipment/procedures are always to high standards
Oversee shift technicians and delegate tasks appropriately
Participate in handover commissioning and witnessing from the developer
Carry out HVAP duties when required
Skills, Competencies and Qualifications required:
Previous experience as Shift Engineer/ Lead Engineer on shift patterns
Technically focused, fault diagnostic skills and highly organised
Computer literacy, written, good oral communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritise workload within tight deadlines and to a high standard
Adjust rapidly and effectively to changes in work demands or business needs
Effective communication skills with customers and to all levels of management
To hold a valid HV or AP cert to carryout HV/LV switching competently
To hold a valid H&S cert (IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent)
Qualification in building services mechanical and electrical engineering to a minimum of City & Guilds
17th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers registration
HV authorised training and certification or Air Conditioning accreditation incl. F Gas qualification
A good working knowledge of building services trades – UPS, Diesel Generators, Plumbing, HVAC systems and Refrigeration
Computer literate with excellent I.T. skills especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Knowledge and awareness of CAFM systems and their use
Supervisory training to ILM standard
