Estate Officer

I am currently recruiting for an Estates Officer on behalf of my client, a leading public sector organisation based in Sheffield (S20).
You will carry out the policies as they relate to estate services in a designated area of the City. With a strong emphasis on quality, customer care, consultation, and teamwork, you will deliver estate officer services within an area of the City within clearly established and monitored targets and standards. Under the supervision of the Lead Estate Officer or Senior Estate Management Officer the post holder will carry out some or all the estate officer services of the Area Team.
Duties of the Estate Officer will include:
Estate / block cleaning
Clearing blocked refuse chutes and ensuring bin rooms clean/clear.
Rubbish collection and disposal.
Liaison with tenants
Repairs reporting and post inspection of communal repairs.
Production of written and verbal reports as required.
Undertaking minor communal repairs
Weeding and shrub pruning to communal areas
Undertaking driving duties and use of machinery
Maintaining tools and equipment
To be successful in this role as an Estate Officer, you will have:
Valid driving license
Previous experience in facilities maintenance, or a related field
Attention to detail
Customer service skills
This is a full time role, 37 hours per week. The pay rate for this role is £12 per hour PAYE.
