Teaching Geography to KS3 & KS4
Hays Education are working with a Leicestershire based secondary school that are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching geography to students in KS3 & KS4. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Geography and a desire to inspire students to learn about the world around them. Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students in Key Stages 3&4.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as required.
Contribute to the development of the Geography curriculum.
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Geography or a related subject.
Experience teaching Geography to students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for Geography and a desire to inspire students to learn about the world around them.
