A travel consultancy company are on the lookout for a Reservations Agent to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This role is fully remote, all equipment will be provided along will full training.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Booking flights, car rentals and hotel reservations for business in the marine industry
Using GDS/Galileo to find the best results possible for corporate customers
Assist clients in planning and booking their travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, and other travel-related services.
Provide expert advice on various destinations, cultural nuances, visa requirements, and travel safety.
Convert inquiries into bookings by actively promoting travel packages and services.
Tailor travel plans to meet individual preferences, budgets, and special requests.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of bookings, payments, and travel arrangements.
Handle any travel-related issues, cancellations, or changes with professionalism and efficiency.
Keep abreast of industry trends, travel regulations, and new destinations.
What we Need from You:
Previous experience working in the travel industry
Experience with GDS/Galileo highly advantageous
Experience working within Marine or Corporate travel is a bonus
Excellent organisational skills
Comfortable dealing with clients at varying levels of seniority
Excellent customer service and administrative skills
What You Will Get in Return:
A salary of £28-32k plus a yearly bonus
