CHIEF OF STAFF – DATA ENGINEERING (BIRMINGHAM BASED) A global investment bank is seeking someone to join the chief of staff team and help with managing various operational functions at a central level for Data Engineering! CHIEF OF STAFF – DATA ENGINEERING ROLE: Managing a wide variety of initiatives for senior leadership of the division
Developing management presentations (both internal and external to Engineering)
Planning and overseeing the implementation of key programs to address audit findings and regulatory requirements
Overseeing the division’s workforce strategy and organizational design
Managing the divisional communications strategy
Driving the external outreach strategy
Onboarding and offboarding of employees and contingent workers (CW)
Raising RM and CW requests
Initiating transfers and follow-ups (inter and intra departments)
RMS Tree Maintenance and cleanup (weekly data issues cleanup)
Cyborg management
Supporting hiring efforts with regards to FTE and CW onboarding needs
Monitoring program/project hygiene
Artemis time booking validation
BCP quarterly certification oversight
CHIEF OF STAFF – DATA ENGINEERING ESSENTIALS: 2-3 years of experience in financial services industry, preferably in an analytical function
Ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Strong stakeholder/relationship management
Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products with focus on Excel and Powerpoint, tools and utilities for business use
Willing to work 5 days in office
