This is an exciting opportunity for a recent geology, geotechnical engineering or geography graduate to find their first position in a hands on role. With a specialist team and a huge variety of ground investigation projects to work on, this is the perfect role to apply your educational knowledge to.
The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:
A top salary (£23,000 - £26,000), plus pay for overtime.

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will:
Be working on a variety of ground investigation projects both on site and in the office.
Receiving expert training on al processes, shadowing and applying university knowledge.
Overseeing ground investigations.
Borehole logging and coring.
Factual and interpretive report writing.
Complying with health and safety practices.
Liaising with team members.
To be considered for this Graduate Geotechnical Engineer position you should:
Have a degree in a relevant subject, for example geology, geotechnical engineering, geography or civil engineering.
Have an in engineering geology and working in a hands on role.
You must live commutable to Edinburgh.
Hold a full UK driving licence (travelling to site will be essential).
Have a full right to work in the UK.
