We are looking to appoint an outstanding Head of Early Years as a maternity cover, starting in September 2024 for a 1 year contract. This is a key senior leadership position, and the successful candidate will play an important role in the continuing success of the School, which has an established reputation in the local area for academic excellence and pastoral care.
The successful candidate will have a clear passion for teaching and learning, staff development, and high levels of professionalism in all that they do. We are looking for a team player, who is always positive, inspirational, and calm under pressure, when working in a busy school environment.

We are looking for:
Proven experience as an effective good / outstanding classroom teacher
Experience of working with children of different ages within the Early Years
Have the ability to lead aspects of school improvement
Ensure that all children are given the opportunity to excel
Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour
