Responsibilities

Project Planning: From preconstruction to construction, collaborate with the project team to develop comprehensive project programme, including timelines, milestones, and prelim for the construction of 1,200 high-rise apartments in Manchester, City Centre.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all planning and development activities comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and environmental regulations.

Site Evaluation: Conduct site assessments to identify potential challenges and opportunities for the development, considering factors such as infrastructure, utilities, and community impact.

Feasibility Studies: Prepare feasibility studies to assess the financial viability of the project program including cost estimates and revenue projections.

Design Coordination: Work closely with architects and designers to ensure that the project's design aligns with the vision and goals of MCR Property Group.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including local authorities, contractors, and consultants, to facilitate smooth project execution.

Budget Management: Monitor project resource expenses and budgets to ensure that the development remains within cost constraints.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.

Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and project stakeholders on the project's status, including any issues or delays.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering.

Proven experience in residential planning and development, with a focus on high-rise buildings.

Strong knowledge of local planning and zoning regulations in Manchester.

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
