Hays Education are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' 11-16 secondary school that are seeking a full-time English Teacher to join their team until the end of the academic year (July). Due to this being a long-term role, full teaching responsibilities will be required, including planning and marking. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
Work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the English curriculum.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress and assessment results.
Job Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff.
Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
