My client is a global engineering organisation that provides leading products and solutions to clients within the O&G, Marine, Industrial and Renewable industries.
There is the rare opportunity for an experienced Reliability Engineer to join their well established site and team in Fife.
Role Overview:
The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the development & provision of effective & reliable manufacturing processes, ensuring operational risk is established & reduced in support of operations
Support the maintenance team by developing & driving predictive maintenance within the preventative maintenance schedule through innovation and technology advancement
Main Responsibilities:
Develop & implement effective & reliable processes to meet all critical to quality (CTQ) and critical to process (CTP) requirements within operations
Identify equipment reliability opportunities by analysing and trending performance data
Support Continuous Improvement throughout the business through the application of Total Quality Management and Lean methodologies
Identify & reduce operational risk in support of operations
Design, develop, implement new procedures for monitoring and testing equipment
Develop & implement training programs to enhance knowledge and skills within the business
Source and implement new technologies and processes that can improve equipment performance and reliability
Design, develop & implement new manufacturing processes, equipment & upgrades to improve process performance, capability, capacity, throughput, cost modelling, waste reduction, QHSE, technology & innovation
Education & Experience:
HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering or technical field
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a Reliability Engineering role or related discipline with demonstrable evidence of systems and process improvement
In-depth understanding, skills & experience in the predictive maintenance methods such as, vibration, thermal, oil sampling
