This role could be yours - An exciting career opportunity as Duty Manager is currently available in one of our hotels. Our team of Duty Managers ensure the smooth running of the hotel operation at night; providing excellent guest service in all areas of the hotel; ensuring that all night audit functions are completed to the companys standards.
Shift pattern: 12-hour shifts, 4 on and 4 off shift pattern
Key responsibilities of our Duty Manager include:
Ensuring that the Duty Manager Log is fully informative and that the follow up tasks are logged for the next shift
Being responsible for Front of House, Café, including food and beverage service, and hotel operations on a daily basis, including maximisation of daily room revenue, supervising shift handover and monitoring room type availability
Implementing and observing Standard Operating Procedures on a regular basis to maintain audit controls and efficient guest service
Inspecting Front and Back of House areas regularly for cleanliness and health and safety purposes by carrying out regular walk-around inspections
Ensuring all Front of House night procedures and checklists are completed
Skills & Experience expected of our Duty Managers:
o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
o Excellent numerical skills and experience of working with Excel
o A positive, can-do approach
o Exceptional team playing skills
o Excellent customer service skills
o Great leadership qualities
o Food and beverage experience preferred
