JOB SUMMARY:
Hartree Partners is seeking a highly motivated Junior Operator to join our London office on a full-time basis. This role involves working closely with wide variety of physical trading desks in Europe. This is an entry level role within a successful and expanding trade organization. This position offers competitive pay and an immediate start date.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Operations teams in London, Germany, and Geneva.
Manage data and information relating to the flows.
Support operations with cost management and invoicing.
Support operational reporting for month end and year end.
Deal with external counterparts / vendors.
Deal with all internal groups that support trade flows.
Develop in time to support a business independently through an understanding of contracts, finance, operations, and risk management as part of a development plan.
Contribute to the efficiency of our operations through proactive organization and planning.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and succinctly.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work with numbers and perform analytical tasks.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results.
Commitment to maintaining high levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
Languages / Programming are not necessary but would be beneficial.
