Are you ready to steer the course in shaping the future of total rewards programs at Spectrum Brands? We're seeking a passionate and innovative individual to join our team as the Compensation and Benefits Manager – EMEA.
The Role
Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with our Global Total Rewards team, overseeing international projects and ensuring alignment with our organisational objectives.
Strategic Advisory Support: Provide continuous guidance and insightful analysis to senior management and HR teams, offering solutions grounded in industry best practices while catering to local nuances.
Strategic Program Management: Lead the development and administration of compensation and benefit programs tailored to our business strategy in the EMEA region, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with relevant employment laws.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor, assisting the business in resolving compensation and benefit-related inquiries, issues, and concerns, while fostering strong relationships with external partners.
Compliance Assurance: Partner effectively with local payroll, tax, and legal departments, as well as external providers, to ensure adherence to statutory obligations and employment laws.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and procedures, recommending revisions and new initiatives in line with evolving compensation trends and company objectives.
Bonus and Merit Support: Provide essential guidance and documentation for the annual bonus and merit processes, ensuring transparency and efficiency throughout.
About You
Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or a related field is essential, along with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in HR compensation and benefits, preferably with international exposure.
Effective Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across various organisational levels.
Analytical Acumen: Advanced problem-solving skills and a knack for data-driven decision-making.
Organisational Agility: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with precision and attention to detail.
Leadership Abilities: Demonstrate leadership in process improvement initiatives and service enhancement programs.
Legal Compliance: Stay up to date on international compensation and benefits laws to ensure compliance.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience working with tools like Workday, Korn Ferry Methodology, and CompAnalyst being advantageous.
Autonomy and Discretion: Ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy and confidentiality.
