Mechanical Design Engineer Job in Ringwood
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a very successful and highly respected Building Services company based in Ringwood. Our client provide a full range of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services from design through to installation and commissioning to various sectors including commercial, industrial, healthcare, residential, and retail, with contract values ranging from £100k up to £1m. You will need to be an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, with experience working within the Mechanical Building Services sector.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide Mechanical Design expertise on complex mechanical assignments
Create and develop functional designs for mechanical structures
Create, design and document specifications and drawings using CAD software while ensuring designs meet functional, safety and regulatory standards
Creating project/job pack documentation
Collaborate with the Project Manager to determine project requirements
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications
Perform project analysis
Minimum Skills and Experience Required for the Mechanical Design Engineer:
A qualification in Mechanical Engineering
A background working in Mechanical Engineering, and strong knowledge in the principles Mechanical Design
Experience with CAD tools
Strong communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Salary and Benefits:
A salary of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum
