Job Description:We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced KS1 Teacher, ideally with a strong background in teaching Years 1 and 3. The successful candidate will be passionate about early years education and committed to fostering a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
Responsibilities:- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum- Take full teaching responsibilities including marking, assessment, and reporting on pupil progress- Organize and conduct parent-teacher meetings- Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and cohesive learning environment- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
Requirements:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)- Experience teaching KS1, with a preference for those with experience in Years 1 and 3- Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment methods- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to manage and inspire a class of young learners- Commitment to the school’s ethos and values- Proactive, flexible, and positive approach to teaching and teamwork
