A unique opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to make this newly created role a success. This is such an exciting opportunity, working for one of the largest FM service providers, managing a team of Area Managers, on a Hard Services contract across a large portfolio of critical UK Government estates.

This role will see you act as the lead for customer management, commercial contract management and contract spend compliance within the estate. You will be accountable for delivering best practice operational management and ensuring value for money across your area of the contract.

You will be home based, with the expectation that you will be highly visible across 8 service delivery areas from Lands End to Northumberland during the working week. You can expect to be travelling between areas for 2-3 days per week.

Candidates are welcomed from anywhere within the country, as long as you are prepared for significant travel.

Role & Responsibilities

Leading the contract operationally throughout mobilisation and transformation, whilst supporting business strategy.

Positioning of the contract for focussed growth, drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Ensuring contract objectives are fully achieved within budgets and targets, regularly review, action and report contract performance, against objectives, budgets, and targets

Developing operational solutions ensuring that value to the customer is maximised and securing growth of the business.

Responsibility for ensuring optimal operational and financial performance of the contract, ensuring all KPIs are achieved

Managing complex client relationships with a number of external stakeholders

Delivering high quality maintenance to meet contract SLAs and KPIs for reactive, planned and grounds maintenance across the Estate.

​​​​​Maintaining Statutory Compliance across the estate and manage/mitigate any risks.

This role will come with direct line management responsibility for 5 Area Managers.

Candidate Profile

It is essential that candidates have proven relevant work experience at the appropriate level outlined above in a Hard FM contract environment.

Excellent communicator with the ability to lead, motivate and engage with employees and stakeholders alike at all levels

Exceptional analytical skills

Proven track record of delivering change in complex and demanding environments.

Previous experience of managing hard FM contracts within the MOD/MOJ, Health or Prison Services, or other Government/Local Authority environments preferred but not essential

Due to the security vetting requirements of the Contract, applicants must have the the ability to obtain unrestricted SC Clearance.

It is also essential that you hold a full UK driving licence.
