Role Purpose: This role is responsible for the organization of the Compliance administration and filing and also for completing Compliance checks around the Glasgow unit.
This role is to cover maternity leave and therefor be an initial 12 month fixed term contract.
Key Interfaces : Internal & External Customers / Employees
Compliance – Administration duties
•Logging and checking of all internal HACCP and food safety documentation against company standards to ensure compliance. Feeding back to the departmental managers/ Compliance Manager on deviations and ensuring that corrective actions are noted. Tracking performance
•Updating and maintaining unit Compliance Activity Planners and supplying relevant information for month end reports
•Maintaining key Compliance information such as Legionella files, Fire Log Book
•Support the Compliance Manager with the collation of documentation for Customer complaints/ comments
•Compile and issue the First Aid Roster
•General filing and archiving
•Maintaining the Training Matrix and training files for the Manchester Region and flagging training requirements to relevant unit management.
•Booking of Medicals and tick tests
Compliance – Internal Checks
•Calibration/ checking of unit thermometers and Scales
•Working with Fire Marshals/ compliance team, ensuring that the monthly fire checks are carried out
•Carrying out monthly temperature checks for Legionella control
•Assisting the unit management team with the Quality Control of finished products by carrying out spot checks on flight components to confirm adherence to specification.
•Conducting GMP audits and sending out findings to the Management Team
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Good knowledge of Microsoft office essential
•Organizational skills essential
•Confident personality and ability to give feedback to all levels
•Physical ability to conduct product checks (may involve bending and lifting)
•Previous experience of Compliance/ Food Safety an advantage
