This rewarding role is set to commence asap and run until July 2024. Our partner primary school in Kirklees is a vibrant and inclusive learning environment that is committed to providing the highest quality education to all its students. The school's mission is to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating atmosphere where every child can thrive, regardless of their unique needs. With a team of dedicated professionals, they are firmly focused on empowering students to achieve their full potential.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a child who has ADHD and Autism, providing individualized support to help them flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.

Your responsibilities will include:

Personalised Assistance: Tailoring your teaching and support methods to suit the child's specific needs.

Emotional Support: Building a trusting relationship with the child to help them develop social and emotional skills.

Behaviour Management: Assisting the child in managing their behaviours in a constructive manner.

Curriculum Support: Supporting the child in accessing and engaging with the primary school curriculum.

Communication: Maintaining open and regular communication with teachers, parents, and relevant professionals.
