This international law firm are currently seeking a talented Associate to join their growing Construction team based in London.
About the team
The Construction, Engineering, and Procurement team comprises 30 fee-earners, including seven partners, sixteen solicitors, four paralegals, and two trainee solicitors.
The team is divided into two sub-teams, focusing on contentious and non-contentious matters, respectively.
Additionally, their diverse clientele includes developers, funders, contractors, sub-contractors, construction consultants, local authorities, Registered Providers, and PFI consortia.
The Role
The firm are seeking an ambitious Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor who is self-motivated, driven, and prepared to "hit the ground running" within the busy team.
Key responsibilities include independently managing files, negotiating construction contracts, client relationship management, advising on construction procurement, and contributing to business development activities.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years' PQE in non-contentious construction law in private practice.
A 2:1 degree or equivalent, along with exceptional interpersonal skills, collaborative spirit, and a proactive attitude are essential.
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong drafting skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of construction procurement methods and industry contracts.
