The Role

Reporting to the Construction Services Director, you will be required to provide HSE support to multiple sites across the West Scotland region.

You will be responsible for:

·      Carrying out Site Inspections and Site Support Visits,

·      Providing technical & HSE support to Site Management Teams

·      Undertaking targeted monthly checks

·      Attending monthly meetings

·      Supporting Client Regional HSE Advisor

·      Finding practical solutions to issues that arise on site.

·      Interacting with site management teams and building trust & solid working relationships

·      Incident and accident investigation

·      Carrying out External PC / Client Inspections

·      Delivering In House training for operatives and management teams.

About You:

Qualifications, experience and training:

·      UK Based Construction / House Building experience.

·      NEBOSH General /Construction Certificate.

·      5 years’ experience in a similar role (desirable)

·      Available Immediately

·      UK Driving Licence

Personal Abilities:

·      The desire to drive the continuous improvement of H & S on site.

·      The personality to interact with workforce & management alike.

·      The ability to produce detailed, informative reports in a timely manner.

·      Excellent time management skills.

·      The ability to manage your diary efficiently.

·      Excellent interpersonal skills & the ability to build relationships.

·      The willingness to travel (Some occasional overnight stays will be required)
