Responsibilities:
My client, a leading Commercial Banking/Trade Finance organisation, is looking to hire a Cyber Security Lead with detailed hands-on experience.
In this role, you will report to the Head of Operational Risk and work closely with the Head of Information Security on a broad range of Cyber Security initiatives. The organisation is performing a host of transformational changes across the Technology space (new system implementations, upgrades etc) and your role will be pivotal in working closely with a range of business functions to consult on these changes from a Cyber Security perspective.
Desired Skills:
Detailed background in a similar level Cyber Security Lead position
Proven track record in consulting into internal Business and Technology Change functions as the Cyber Security expert – ESSENTIAL
Proven experience of keeping senior management abreast of impending Cyber Security required changes
Exposure to Financial Services or a similarly regulated industry sector
Strong understanding of impending Cyber threats and how to defend against them
Detailed understanding of Cyber Security compliance
Experience in Data Leakage prevention
Background in working closely with 1st line of defence teams whilst being a 2nd line of defence Cyber Security expert
Security accreditations – CISSP, CISA and/or CISM
Strong knowledge of current Security standards – NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, CyberEssentials
Solid knowledge of IT Security Operations – tools, processes and policies – patching, vulnerability scanning, pen testing
Comfortable working in all forms of Cloud environments
Extensive stakeholder management skills and outstanding communication skills – verbal and written
