Description
The key responsibilities of a Finance Manager will include, but may not be limited to;
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting & finance department.
Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Coordinate with auditors for audit activities as needed.
Support the management with in-depth analysis and advice on financial operations.
Develop strategies to enhance the financial performance of the organisation.
Comply with all legal requirements, upholding the organisation's high ethical standards.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
A Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Not for Profit and Charities background, Education desirable.
Strong understanding and experience in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proven ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
Experience with creating financial statements.
Knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
