Role & Company Overview:
Seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer for a pivotal role in managing existing infrastructure, creating new setups, and sharing best practices for a Financial Exchange.
This diverse position involves automation, low latency trading platforms, and client support within a highly technical team.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement automated global cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
Enhance automation processes on cloud and on-premise using Ansible, Python, and other tools.
Collaborate with the development team on new technologies and workflows.
Ensure architectural design adherence to cloud best practices.
Support development and ops teams, including build servers, virtual environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
Assist the Linux team with software, OS, and hardware maintenance using Ansible and Terraform.
Conduct systems capacity planning for scalability across environments.
Create and maintain up-to-date documentation.
Mentor and train team members on technologies and processes.
Required Skills/Experience:
5+ years of architecting systems on multi-account AWS and GCP platforms (bonus for Azure).
5+ years general DevOps, including CI/CD, Deployment, Monitoring, and automation.
4+ years of system administration in a RedHat/CentOS environment. Proficiency in Python, bash, Ansible, and Terraform.
Experience with Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab, AWS Code Deploy, etc.
Proven experience with network, security, and systems monitoring.
Skills in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes/ECS/ECR), Elasticsearch, and CloudFormation.
Database administration in MySQL, QuestDB, and Elasticsearch.
