My client is seeking an experienced and passionate IT Project Manager to join their Digital, Data & Technology PMO. Your new role:
Be responsible to the Programme Manager for the timely, efficient, and effective management of allocated projects.
Build effective working relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
Manage all aspects of project stages through specification, planning, testing, training, deployment, decommissioning.
Maintain a robust change and delivery management framework for assigned projects.
Managing the project budget and project benefits realisation framework process.
Support, facilitate and monitor progress of projects both internally and externally where appropriate.
Manage and support the development of junior project management team colleagues.
The post holder may be required to undertake line management for a junior colleague, as well as provide support, development, and assurance for work packages or projects they are leading.
What you’ll need to succeed:
Significant project management experience in the implementation and support of complex systems.
Experience of managing all aspects of project stages through; specification, planning, testing, training, deployment, decommissioning and maintaining a robust change and delivery framework for assigned projects.
The ability to manage complex organisational changes.
Able to produce complex business cases and investment appraisals
General management or ITIL Service Management qualification. (Desirable)
Certified PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management qualification.
Expert knowledge of standard Microsoft Office products and Project Management tools.
