Media Production Coordinator

Calex is a specialist training and consultancy organisation working in partnership with several market-leading automotive manufacturers. We are currently seeking to recruit a Media Production Coordinator reporting directly to the Learning Innovations Manager. They will play a key role in coordinating workflow within the team, whilst being able to direct, shoot and edit footage in accordance with brand guidelines and supporting escalation queries.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for all multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, livestreams and webinars
Assess and distribute workload to achieve required KPIs
with internal and external teams to establish realistic timelines and adjust schedules as necessary
act as the first point of contact for all scheduling and studio queries
Stay informed around best practises in multimedia scheduling, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies
guidance and support to the team throughout the production process
and maintain video production equipment, including cameras, lighting, audio recording devices, and accessories
and develop multimedia (audio/video) content
multiple fast-paced projects at the same time
that all image and video assets created meet editorial standards and branding guidelines
closely with the Calex Management and Leadership team, and other key personnel, to support the partnership with VWG, and ensure KPIs and SLAs are achieved
About You
Experience of coordinating workload for a team

a understanding of Project Management principals and subsequent scheduling tools
understanding of multimedia production processes, including video production.
have a deep understanding of and appreciation for the creative process - story telling, conceptualising, filming, sound, lighting, etc.
the ability to direct, shoot and edit footage in accordance with brand guidelines.
self-sufficient, tech-savvy with extensive experience of using Adobe Creative Cloud products, e.g. Premiere Pro and After Effects, and an understanding of video formats and codecs
working with designers, animators, and motion graphics artists
a creative and conceptual thinker with creative energy and ideas
to travel if required

Salary & Benefits
Up to £30,000 dependent on experience.

Employment
The successful candidate will be employed by Calex UK (www.calexuk.com). Calex are a specialist automotive training provider and provide training staff and expertise including Trainers, Developers, Digital Learning Experts, and Administrators to Volkswagen Group UK. The successful candidate will join an established team, at the VWG National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes.
Place of Work
VWG National Learning Centre, Wymbush, Milton Keynes.
We currently operate hybrid working with at least 60% of time in the National Learning Centre with the opportunity to work up to 40% remotely. Time spent in the office may change.
There will also be times when it may be necessary to work out of hours and/or from alternative locations, e.g. VWG facilities and retailers, and other sites as necessary to perform the role.Flexibility to accommodate this is required.
