Support Worker

Kidderminster

We're in search of a dedicated support worker who is truly committed to Making a Difference. While prior experience in a supported living environment is advantageous, it's not a prerequisite.

The individual we're assisting requires personalised 1:1 female support round the clock, including waking night assistance. Familiarity with working with individuals dealing with anorexia would be beneficial. Candidates for this role should be driven to help them gain confidence in independent living skills. They will need assistance with various tasks such as medication management, morning and evening routines, adhering to a structured eating plan, maintaining their home and tenancy, planning activities, providing personal care reminders, accompanying them to medical appointments, assisting with shopping and laundry, offering support with finance management, and aiding in meal planning.

About Us: At JLKare and Support, we offer the freedom of independence and 24-hour support whenever needed. Our projects span across the West Midlands and Worcestershire, catering to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, autism, and challenging behaviours. We provide personalised support packages that prioritise individual needs while empowering individuals to maintain control over their lives. Our staff are dedicated to fostering independence by offering just the right amount of support within the comfort of one's home.

If you're tired of working for care companies that lack compassion and are genuinely passionate about providing care and support, this role might be the perfect fit.
