About the Position: As the Trading Manager for Europe, your role centers around overseeing short-term trading operations. You'll delve into the intricacies of the CWE markets and the responsibilities of a trader. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Trading Leadership:
Spearhead European Day-Ahead (DAH) and Intraday Trading plans, crafting innovative tools and strategies to maximize gains and minimize losses.
Develop and maintain operational tools that empower our Operations teams, enhancing their competitiveness and boosting the value of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
Collaboration and Long-Term Vision:
Collaborate closely with other European trading desks to establish cohesive, long-term strategies.
Support trade analysts in providing traders with ample trading opportunities.
Relationship Management:
Cultivate and manage relationships both within and outside the organization.
Regulatory Compliance:
Collaborate with Regulation and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to all relevant rules and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in analyzing the European power market, including a deep understanding of commodity markets, industry players, and driving factors.
Ability to create and effectively utilize complex analysis tools and models.
Strong communication skills for conveying intricate trade ideas.
Aptitude for monitoring trading positions and generating innovative trade concepts.
