This is an opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a small, friendly team, taking care of a portfolio of clients’ accounting requirements and providing valuable advice and answering queries.
As Accountant your responsibilities will include:
Managing a key portfolio of clients, leading client meetings, advising clients, and providing rapid responses to client queries
Nurturing and developing relationships with new and existing clients
Attend events to enhance your business development
Preparation and reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, corporation tax, VAT and personal tax
Dealing with all company secretarial for clients
Setting up limited companies
Completing directors’ only payroll
We welcome applications form experienced accountants with the following:
ACA/ACCA - 1 year post-qualified; strong newly qualified / finalist candidates will be considered
Significant accounting experience gained within a practice environment
Sound judgement and initiative to find solutions and make decisions under pressure
Ability to self-manage and self-motivate
Work well with others and be able to offer team support
Good IT skills with experience of accounting software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This is an opportunity that will give the successful candidate a good amount of autonomy and responsibility where you can further develop existing skills and gain valuable experience.
