We are currently seeking a Residential Children Support Worker to join our team at in Staffordshire . If you have a minimum of 6 months of experience as a Residential Children Support Worker in the last 3 years, we would love to hear from you!

Position: Residential Children Support Worker

Location: Staffordshire , UK

Requirements:

Minimum 6 months of experience as a Residential Children Support Worker in a residential setting within the last 3 years.

Own car and a full driving license in the UK.

Must possess an updated DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.

Individuals who have resided outside the UK for more than 6 months within the last 5 years should provide a valid Police Clearance certificate.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care and support to children in a residential setting.

Promote a safe and nurturing environment for children's physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Support children in daily activities, including personal care, education, and recreational pursuits.

Maintain accurate records and documentation as per regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

Minimum 6 months of experience as a Residential Children Support Worker in a residential setting within the last 3 years.

NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent qualification (desirable).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.

Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of children.

Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
