You will also be responsible for: · Being the interface between Business Assistants, Customer Service and Production. · Ensuring correct and timely requests for raw materials. · Working in accordance with company's values, HR and HS&E policies: instructions, minimum requirements and guidelines. · Overseeing stock checks and advise on safety stock requirements. · Providing short term cover for site logistics specialist. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Production Planner, Demand Planner - Adhesives, Industrial Consumables Your planning experience will ideally come from a manufacturing environment where REACH / COSHH / COMAH regulations are a consideration. This isn't a pre-requisite but would be hugely beneficial. You will also have some experience or exposure to SAP or similar MERPS in a manufacturing environment. In addition, you will have: · A good standard of education · Solid Excel capabilities and comfortable with all office systems · Excellent knowledge of production processes · Demonstrable experience in the field of Planning and/or logistics THE COMPANY: We are a synthetic resin manufacturer based in the UK. We produce an ever-widening range of resins primarily based on unsaturated polyester and alkyd chemistry. We also manufacture a range of speciality resins with urethane, epoxy, and acrylic functionality.
