Our Client is a Global Design Agency working with a fantastic portfolio of high growth clients. They are well acclaimed and are growing rapidly with offices UK, US and Europe. They are looking for a pro-active Finance Assistant with positive attitude and strong communication skills. To succeed they will need to be well organised, diligent about the details, focused on delivering to deadlines, be a good collaborator and team player. You will be working closely with the AMAs, Management Accountant & FC
Finance Assistant Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring and ownership of all 6 accounts payable inboxes. Approx. 200 invoices per month.
Checking all freelancer invoices against their project management software to approve against submitted timesheets
Setting up & maintaining supplier records, resolving supplier queries and reconcile accountants.
Review and process employee expenses via their prepaid card platforms. Ensure there is accurate & appropriate backup to all expense transactions across the group and controls/policies are being adhered to, liaising with staff members across all levels. Posting the respective journals to their accounting software with monthly reconciliations to statements.
Preparation of bi-weekly payment runs for all entities
Assisting the Group MA with intercompany postings, reconciliations and generating billing between agencies.
Responsible for clearing out and reconciling the global recharge entity monthly
Suggesting solutions and efficiencies to current processes & systems if required.
Assistance with year-end audit & system upgrades.
Finance Assistant Key Skills Required:
2+ years relevant work experience, preferably studying AAT or similar.
A self-starter, with a pro-active approach to getting things done, as well as being an effective team player and contributor.
Strong communication skills, confident speaking to staff across all aspects of the business as well as internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent organisation and time-management skills and & attention to detail. Can manage to a timetable.
Proven bookkeeping experience and accounts payable management.
Experience with working in a multi-currency, multi-entity environment preferable.
Experience with cloud-based accounting systems and APIs desirable as well as Excel.
