As Transport Manager your role will be to lead, plan and manage the Transport Department including routing, forecasting, driver training & development, driver management, compliance, fleet maintenance and other Transport functions.
Role Essentials
Responsible for ensuring compliance is met and plans are in place to address areas of concern
To ensure all legal requirements relating to Food Safety and Health and Safety are met.
Promote an engaging culture through our values: Trust, Courage and Passion.
Responsible for the complete cycle of people management.
Who we’re looking for
Transport Manager CPC qualification (essential)
Proven Management experience within a Transport environment
Working knowledge regarding drivers' hours and working time directive as set by DVLA and DVSA
Flexibility to adjust to varying hours according to the needs of the business
Strong people management skills
Ability to work smart in a fast-paced logistics environment
Natural leader and relationship builder with excellent communication skills
