Role responsibilities
Develop Frontend Applications using NextJS, React and Sanity.io
Develop Backend applications using NodeJS in a serverless architecture.
Champion Communities of practice and development standards across our development team
Play an active role in agile ceremonies such as retrospectives, sprint planning and stand-ups.
Using your experience collaborate on creating new solutions for our growing tech stack.
Communicate with stakeholders across the business both technical and non-technical.
Coaching and mentoring more junior members of the team.
Experience
Excellent communication skills
Strong Organisation and Time management skills
Ability to work independently, proactively and as part of a wider team.
Ability to design solutions and cater for non-functional requirements such as performance and security.
Significant commercial experience in the following areas:
Development using JavaScript libraries and frameworks (Next.js and React preferred)
Development of serverless applications (Node.js and serverless.io preferred)
Development of REST and/or GraphQL API's
PostgreSQL and PGAdmin (Or similar relational database experience)
Working in a DevOps environment, containerising, deploying, scaling applications and micro services using CI/CD pipeline
Desirable Experience
Experience working in the Insurance sector or other highly regulated sectors
Experience with Salesforce Integration
