What you'll need to succeed To become a teacher of plumbing and heating, you'll need a combination of technical and teaching skills. Here are some key skills that would be beneficial:* NVQ Level 3 in plumbing and heating* City and Guilds or equivalent in Electrical installations* 5-10 years of plumbing and heating experience* 5-10 years electrical installation experienceIf you do not hold a level 4 or equivalent teaching qualification, you will have the opportunity to obtain this within 5 years from the appointment date, which will be funded by the college. What you'll get in return The college boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, computer suites, and specialised vocational training workshops. Alongside this, you will receive an extensive benefit package including up to 42 days annual leave, a generous Maternity/Paternity package and Pension scheme.
