Acorn by Synergie is searching for a Product Support Engineer to join their client, a leading manufacturer of safety system equipment based in Bristol.
Forming an integral part of the product development team and reporting to the Product Support Lead, this role entails the creation of technical documentation for varied projects, integration of external products into the company's portfolio, and provision of training and support across all levels on the products and systems.
Duties will include:
*Produce comprehensive technical product documentation, including datasheets and manuals, covering all areas of the business.
*Create detailed technical test and specification documentation, including in-shop testing specifications for product manufacturing and qualification purposes.
*Conduct thorough reviews and provide approval for technical documentation.
*Design and deliver training sessions and materials tailored to all business areas including design, commissioning, installation, end users, and clients.
*Collaborating closely with clients to ensure thorough understanding, challenge, and compliance of design changes, ensuring they meet standards.
*Delivering design related changes via presentations, training, and technical drawings.
*Evaluate test, review, and provide feedback on software and firmware releases. Ensure all software releases are fully functional, to specification, usable and complaint.
