My client is a law firm based in Holborn, and they’re seeking an experienced litigation secretary to join their team. The firm have a friendly, energetic and collaborative culture and are a group of down to earth solicitors and legal professionals that genuinely come into the office, do their work and have a good laugh.
You will be providing administrative support to several of the partners, so prior experience working as a litigation secretary is essential. There are 2 litigation secretaries currently in the team that support fee earners, but due to an increase in work, they need another secretary to support with the workload.
Responsibilities
Document production – audiotyping, preparing, maintaining and organising legal files and documents
Telephone and email management
Scheduling & diarising deadlines and fee earners calendars
Assisting with trial preparation, including bundling
Conducting legal research and gathering relevant information for cases
Invoicing
Photocopying, scanning and dealing with post
About you
Previous experience as a legal secretary or similar role
Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures within litigation
You must have strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when typing
Experienced in MS Office Suite and other softwares such as AbobePro and Docusign.
Great verbal and written communication skills
