Our client is a highly respected organisation with a reputation for excellence within their industry. They are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Finance Administrator to join their small team at Company HQ at Riccarton/Hermiston area, on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
The Role:
The Finance Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the small finance team by providing professional and efficient assistance in key financial responsibilities. You will also assist with supporting a number of branch offices across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
* Handle accounts payable transactions efficiently
* Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy
* Assist in month-end reporting by ensuring the accurate processing of accounts information
* Provide support to branch offices regarding accounting queries
* Manage client and supplier account applications
* Address third-party enquiries effectively
* Undertake ad hoc accounts administration responsibilities as required
* Process daily post as needed and provide holiday cover
* Be flexible to provide holiday cover within the department as necessary
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Experience of Microsoft Dynamics (desirable)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
