A well known luxury retail company based in the heart of London is recruiting a Management Accountant to join the Finance team, paying up to 50k.The role of MA will include:
Weekly operational cash Flow update
Undertake balance sheet reconciliations and reviews.
Preparation and posting of monthly journals such as prepayments, accruals, depreciation.
Bank reconciliations
Adhering to month-end routines and ensuring all tasks are completed in the correct order and agreed timelines. Monthly accounts are to be closed by the 10th of each month.
The support AP function is posting invoices and reconciliations as and when required.
Support AR function and reconcile revenue by channel monthly within a set deadline.
Management of the various Accounts inboxes
Creating payment runs where required.
Support the audit process by preparing necessary documentation, and addressing any audit-related queries
Assisting with a variety of financial projects requiring implementation
Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by Finance Management
Skills and Qualifications Required:
Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN RETAIL / WHOLESALE OR MANUFACTURING
Degree in Finance / Economics / Business / Accounting preferred but not required.
2yr minimum Experience working within a finance department.
Experience working with Xero preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel includes pivot tables.
Able to manage and prioritise your own workload in a dynamic, high-growth environment
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
