Children’s Social Worker
WorkwithYork are working with our York based public sector client to recruit a qualified Children’s Social Worker, to work with children and young people with disabilities and their families.
This is a temporary full time assignment, initially for three months, with flexible hybrid working.
You’ll be part of a supportive team and when office based you’ll work from offices in central York and/or at a children’s residential settting in a York suburb.
This role involves:
an allocated social work caseload of child in need, safegaurding and cases
PLO Family and Deprivation of Liberty Proceedings.
assessments
and reviewing plans within a signs of safety and signs of wellbeingframework
case recording systems (ideally Mosaic)
You will:
a Social Work Qualification: CQSW, Dip. SW, CSS or equivalent
SWE registered
experience with working with child in need, and safeguarding cases, and with children with disabilities
resilient, compassionate and hard working with good communications skills
at least two years post qualification experience
eligible to work in the UK
a current valid DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake an online enhanced DBS check
a valid UK driving license
