Key responsibilities
Visit sites to survey work and materials,
followed by a survey write up (report)
Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems
Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them , Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units Installation, and commissioning of Access Control Systems, CCTV and Fire Alarm or related equipment.
Create site specific RAMS documentation
Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines • Covering out of hours On-Call
on a rota basis
The candidate:
18th edition qualified electrician with at least NVQ Level 3
2391 or equivalent Inspection & Testing qualification
Ability to manage own workload, to be thorough and pay attention to detail
Adaptability and flexibility
Loyal and enthusiastic Team player
Proactive with a desire to learn and develop new skills
Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate professionally with colleagues and customers Enhanced DBS check (to be performed following interview
