A progressive, high-achieving school in Westminster is looking for a Mental Health Support Assistant to work alongside their SEND, Pastoral and Safeguarding teams . Collaborating with these teams, the pupil and their parents, you will address additional needs required by students to make learning accessible to them.

The school is situated in Westminster and supports young people, aged 4-11, who have a range of additional needs associated with social, emotional mental health challenges. It's mainstream primary school, who provide fantastic support to ensure their pupils receive the education they deserve. As Mental Health Support Assistant, you will be working 1:1 with a student who requires extra support. Graduate with a 1:1 or 2:1 degree,

Patient, calm and empathetic personality,

Personal or professional experience with children,

Good understanding of mental health issues,

Good education levels of English and maths.
